just bought my father-in laws 2500 6.0 gas and the oil pressure gauge moves from 20 at idle to about 50 when i accelerate never had a vehicle do this. anybody got an idea whats going on?

 

i think its a Gm thing, i have had a 92, 94, 96, 2 1998, a 02, a 08 ford, and now a 08 sierra 5.3, my ford is the only one that didnt jump all over the place, ive even had one of my 98's during some messing around go to zero for a minute, i stil have that one as a plow truck with 220 000kms now no trouble, even my 08 5.3 goes up and down with rpm(not as bad as others.) note all V8s driven hard
