2007 Silverado CC new body style radio problems
Any help highly appreciated. I just bought a "new" truck for myself last month and i have been noticeing a problem with my radio fading out. I saw one other post about this from another guy on this forumb but he hasn't posted in like 2 1/2 years, nor did he mention how he fixed it. He did explain it well though, here is exactly what it's doing. When I drive the truck the music 'fades' in and out at very intermittant times.
It only happens when the truck is in motion. It only happens when I am listening to the radio, not the cd player. The antenna is apparently hooked up correctly. My truck has the Onstar system/ and XM radio antena but i dont know if this would interfer with anything. I dont want to take the truck to the dealership for something i could probably fix myself if i just new what to replace. Any help would great, thanks, Jason.

Your radio has a setting for you volume called, Speed Compensated Volume. That might be why you radio fades in and out or the volume goed up and down. Push menu button then option for adjust volume and select high, medium, low or off. That might solve your problem.
