Talking 4 months in, its come a long ways!

I never considered myself any kind of customizer. I might change a little something here and there, but that's it. I was looking at pic of my truck back in August when I bought it and now.

That's more change in 4 months than most of my vehicles make in a lifetime! Oh, I justify it, I needed running boards, kids and short wife, I needed tires, but not necessarily all-terrain tires, but it might snow. I needed something to carry stuff in, like a truckbox. And so on and so forth. The thing is, I can't stop! I need splash guards to keep the running boards clean, and vent visors for the summer, and I am increasingly making the argument for a bull bar. Apparently, I've got it bad!

Glad your enjoying your truck! I really like the styling of those GMCs. If I were to upgrade the body style of my current truck, an '04 crew cab, I would probably go with a '13 2500 GMC.

Keep us updated as you tweak and adjust your truck!

I liked the Chevy and GMC from this generation. That's rare. Since the 88 redesign I have always preferred the GMC, and do with the current trucks. However, my all-time favorite is still the 71-72 C-10.

It won't be long before you've got Chrome wheels, door handles, and mirror caps on her... Or black wheels to match the mirrors and handles... it'd give you a desert warrior vibe!

I might mention that I love my weathertech splash guards... Saved me a HEAP of trouble when I drove through asphalt last week

Not going to happen. First, I hate black wheels. Second, past history has made the chance of me buying an aftermarket wheel practically zero.

Seeing as how I'm in no hurry, I may wait until the budget can cover a set of these.
