Default 95 Chevy Silverado- "Service Engine Soon"

Drove my truck this morning and saw that the "Service Engine Soon" light came on. I guess I should start with the simple things first. Any suggestions, please.
We just had the oil changed, air filter. Now what????

You can go to most parts places like Autozone and ask them to help you read the SES light their scan tool. Have you checked the oil level since the oil change? Maybewhoever did the oil changedidn't tighten the plug all the way and now the oil is real low. Is it running wierd? Idleing sporatically, stalling out, bogging down, any of that?

Cool! I'll check out Autozone. The car runs solid. No hesitation, not sluggish, idles strong. I'll check the oil level. You know the check engine light didnt go on until we just had the oil changed. The other thing; the needles on all the gauges, ie, oil, gas, battery, etc. all bounce around vigirously. Does that mean anything?

Did it start that just after the oil change too??? That's strange. Not sure what would cause that.

The needles wobbling all over the place is not a new thing. Per my parents, its done that for a long time now, BUT the check engine light seemed to come on right after we had the oil changed.
ps. I like the scripture you have posted on your signature. How true it is.
Good day and God's continued blessing to you and yours.......
