98 K1500 5.7L Stalling problem, please help

Check your fuel pump and filter.
Your 95 is still TBI and I have had a couple in the past that the rod that the throttle body plate (butterfly) rides on gets worn out and will cause weird idle and stalling. The fuel pump and filter are more common though.
Also check all your vacuum lines going to the throttle body.
I actually just did a pump in a 1991 which is the same set up as yours. He complained about the same things you are complaining about. On those trucks you have to check the fuel pressure at the filter with a TBI adapter. It basically replaces the fuel filter and has a fitting coming out of the side to connect a guage to. Good Luck!

Fuel pump module! GM is spendy, retails for over $500. Look at Delco, MU142, or Delco is made by Delphi, look at the Delphi FG0086 pump module. I"m going through the same deal. Have my new Delphi pump module enroute. Looks like the easy way to replace this si to remove the bad and slide it back a smidge.

Front of the intake, will have a wire going to it.
