Default Leaking oil, but from where?

I came outside this morning to a puddle under my '01. It's a clean lightish oil, and I can't find where it's come from for the life of me. I'm assuming it's either power steering fluid or AC compressor oil??????

Will the AC throw a code? Thanks

it could be your front Diff, if it is 4x4. anyway the skid plate is under neath the diff so it drips onto the skid plate then to the ground.

If your A/C is still working then it is not that. If you had a bad enough leak for a puddle of oil the refrigerant would definitely be gone. Just guessing I would say power steering fluid. I have repaired quite a few 2500 and larger power steering leaks. Remember your truck had hydroboost brakes which runs off the power steering pump. So there are a few "extra" places for it to leak. Have you checked all your fluids to see what is low?
