Default Terrible vibration/growl

Hey everyone. I have an 05 chevy silverado 2500hd 4wd and within the past week or two it developed a really nasty growl and vibration. It's most noticable between 50 and 65. I replaced the wheel hub and it didn't do a damn thing. With the front wheels off the ground and tires off the rotor on the drivers side was hard to turn with one hand, and the other side was hard, but not as bad. Could it be cv joints? For kicks I put it in 4wd and cut the wheel and gave it a little gas and it took more and more to make the truck move then when it did it felt a clunky and would stop till I gave it more gas and I was on a relatively flat surface. Sounds cv related I just didn't know if they tend to growl... Thank you for the help!

Dont think u have CV Joints, ur probably looking at the rack and pinion. Im not sure as Im not familiar wit 4x4's but ur sounding like u have a front diff goin bad. Unbolt the cover and inspect.
