Default Coolant bypass

What is a coolant bypass? I understand itsa mod that I can do at home, but what does it do? Does it increase horsepower? If its not too hard or expensive id like to do it. Can anyone please give me some instruction... thanks!

Thats cool glad I could help. I did 2 of the free mods today. I did my antenna and took the ambers out of my headlights. The lights wernt as easy as I thought they would be. But I only cut myself 1 time woohoo!! They just didnt pry apart as easy as I read. But they look good ill post some pics up tomorrow when I got some light. The only thing im worried about is if its legal or not. I know in 68 they made it so you have to put reflectors on the side. The only reason I know that is the 67 Camaro didnt have them so thats how I alway told them apart.

I performed a completely different kind of coolant bypass. You take the bottom hose off your radiator, let it all flow out onto the driveway. Let that bastard drip dry overnight, and fire it up the next morning and haul *** around until you hear screaching metal and you see flames shooting out from underneath your hood.

Guaranteed to destroy your engine or your money back.
