cowl induction
IS THE FOLLOWING CORRECT?
A cowl induction hood creates a vacuum in the center bottom of the windshield. This vacuum allows hot engine air to escape easily. Colder air can then replace the hot air making the engine perform better. This combined with a CAI should increase mpg and overall performance.

RE: cowl induction
I'm in the process of getting an estimate for a steel cowl hood and bushwacker pocket fender flares. The estimate includes everything painted to match my truck and installation.
I was told fiberglass hoods are difficult to line up and just don't look as good as steel. Matter of fact, the guy giving me the estimate said he would't even do the fiberglass hood!
