Default Engine change out

We removed a 2000 chevy 350 5.7 vortex that blew up and installed a 99 chevy 350 5.7 vortex it came out of a van.this truck that we installed the engine in sat for 2 yrs so we drained fuel and tryed to start ,but the engine starts right away but only runs for 3 seconds then shuts down. If we spray gas in the throttle body it will run fine soon as we stop it stops. But will start immediately run for 3 seconds shut down,so far we elimanated fuel pump, its workin when we press pressure release on fuel injection there is pressure and if we hold it down while cranking fuel runs out steadily.we have double checked for vacuum lines and grounds, there is a security light on dash following rekey instruction and our key does not have a chip on it the light refuses to go out.when we check for any codes it reads no codes.does anyone know how to check each injector and also the spider without removing the intake?.sure would appreciate any help ...goin crazy in florida thanks in advance cliff

If the security light is on you need to do a security relearn or bypass the pass lock system.

So the security light is solid - not blinking? The key is not supposed to have a chip. If the light is solid either you have a bad passlock unit or a wiring issue - either way it has lost communication with the ECM. If the light is flashing than you need to relearn the passlock system.
