Engine Idle @ Stop/ Amp meter twitch
Hey guys, I haven't been on here in a while and kinda have a problem with the Truck. Its a 2005 Silverado Ext. Cab 5.3L 2wd. Added a K&N Intake and Thrush muffler dropped under the bed about 5k ago. Here's my issue...
Whenever i'm out driving and happen to come to a stop and am stopped my engine idle will somewhat bog down or rev low and then back up. It only goes down a bit then revs up back to normal (It won't do this to me in Park or Neutral). On a few occassions it idles down low enough or for a bit over 1 second then that usually causes the Amp gauge to go down a hair, but not much. It started doing this to me a little at first then a bit more.
I'm not to the point where i'm scared to drive it so I thought i should ask ya'll b4 i ask a shop and they give me a bull**** expensive answer.
Thanks.
Corbin

Get some MAF Sensor and Throttle Body Cleaner. One can each. Disconnect the sensor and spray down pretty good. Just open the flap of the throttle body and spray down real good. Spray down the small passages of the IAC Valve too. Let sit for a couple mins then start. It will take some cranking but will eventually start. See if that helps first.
