GMC A/C Problems

Default GMC A/C Problems

WHen I let my truck sit for 8hr or better, get in crank it the ac starts to blow cold than hot for 5mins aor better then it will it will work fine. If anybody can help I would be thankful.

2002 GMC Seria z71
5.3 4wheel drive

Wrong section, make sure you read the stickys at the top of each section before posting.

Other than that, I don't really know much about your problem, but welcome to the forum anyways

Sounds like the cycle switch on the accumalator is no good. Real cheap part, 13 dollars at autozone. Mine would do the same. Replaced and been good since.
