Hey truckers, new to the site here. My Sierra is a 1994 Z-71 with the 5.7/350 motor and it just turned 55,000 miles. I kinda think that it is now time to change out all of the coolant hoses which raises a quick question. The job appears to be rather straight forward, upper and lower radiator hoses, and two heater hoses. My question, is how does one disconnect the quick disconnect on the heater hose as it goes into the manifold, any special tools or simply squeeze the plastic ears together and pull it out of the manifold fitting? Does the new hose come with the necessary parts to simply push the new hose back in. Any other advise or comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance guys....
