How can I make my truck sound louder/better?

nice sounding truck mine is close to that also my car
his truck is old enaugh to not have to comply with the emmisions control laws of today as it is grandfathered in so to speak
but i bet he is running straight pipe with flowmaster mufflers

i have no cats on my 248 horse power 4.6lv8 05 crown vic intereceptor
and i in place i have the thrush tubes in place of cats
with mufflers i have noticed more throttle response and faster acceleration thats also because it is an ex police car
in my 94 silverado ext 4wd half ton i have true dual with only thrush tubes i cant really tell a big difference
some will say it robs your performance some say it helps
so i am not to sure of that
i have heard both sayings but me personally i think it helps
it may gain a small amount of horse power like 2-5
and it will help your exsuast to breath better not as much pluggin up the flow
but again im not sure i would ask some others for there opinion abotu the performance aspect on this forum
and if i find naything ill post it to let you no

will straight pipes (no cat) with my existing muffler (cherry bomb extreme) sound the same? or is flowmaster better?

my car will chirp tires at 70mph in 3rd gear and still has alot of torque
and its a posi track rear diff

flowmaster mufflers are probably your best bet

Well now I'm starting to regret getting the cherry bomb extreme installed 
I feel like my truck would sound better and might be louder with the flowmaster.

I made a video a long time ago when I first got my muffler installed. Check it out and tell me what you think of the sound

That truck has a real nice sound - leave it alone!!!!
