I've got a 2006 sierra 1500 with a 4.8 liter engine and I want to get more power out of it but I don't know what to do. I am looking at getting a bully dog programmer. any advice?

there are lots of things you could do. you could start with something such as an aftermarket intake,you could get exhaust done. there are several things you can do with your exhaust. after market headers would be a great place to start you can put true duals on it which i reccomend i have them on my 97 sierra vortec 350 and it sounds amazing it doesnt have any mufflers only cats. a throttlebody spacer would help also i makes the fuel travel farther which improves fuel dispersion making fuel ignite better. you could get a performance cam put in it,or just upgrade to a 5300 vortec
