Oregon Performance and Blackbear performance ROCKS
My buddy ordered my corvette servo from them off ebay on Friday and it was sitting on his front porch on monday.
got it installed yesterday and man what a difference. its a tad bit to get used to under normal throttle but WOT, it awsome. the shifts are even quicker (i have a tune by Justin) than what he tuned it for. i still have a slight delay in the 3-4 shift, so i think i should have gotten a servo for that but ill run her til she dies.
as for justin, man this truck runs so great. hardly any throttle is needed to get the truck moving. takes a lot less throttle to keep it going down the road. its nothing to just push the gas (easily) and look down and be doing 80 now.

Sweet!! When I put my servo in it made a difference too on my truck. 1/2 throttle and it brakes the tires some times. At WOT 1-2 is great and 2-3 is great too. I took 50% TM off mine to shift harder. But I am also gonna order the overdrive servo too. These little upgrades will add life to your transmission IF we take it easy on her. Lol which is hard to do!!

WORD!! yea justin (blackbear performance) told me that i had a significant slip at WOT from 1-2 on a couple of my hard pulls in the log i sent him, so he bumped up the line pressure some to help with that, but said that the servo will help out alot to prolong the life. id rather spend $20 bucks now to help out then $2500 for a built 4l70.

I also added a heavy duty tranny cooler. I bypassed it goin into the radiator and just the cooler in front of the grill. It cools so well that I can put my hand on the return line and it only feels warm. A cooler plus a servo will extend the life of ur tranny with many miles!!

yea my truck actually had a crappy tune on it from the previous owner, and i guess the fan seetings were set wrong because at operating temp, the fans were on high all the time. it sounded like a jet enginge and was annoying, but it kept the tranny temp around the 150-160 or so mark. now that the fan settings have been fixed, with the 80-90deg weather and me beating on it, the trans temp is creeping up near the 180-190 mark, so i think im going to save up a little money and ditch the small factory cooler and get a larger one.
