I was just wondering if 16' rims will fit on my truck it is an 05 sierra crew 4x4 with the z71 package and it has rear drum brakes and if so what offset or style of rim fits thanks

 

i dont want to run my 20's through another winter on my pro comp extreme mud terrains haha

 

Well, My 2002 GMC sierra came with 16' rims stock, So definately they will fit.

What size tire are you going to use?

 

No, I believe the stock rims on a 2005 are 17". If you put on the 16s I think it will touch the braking system.

 

yeah the stock is 17 but i was curious as to if that was just a gm preferance or actually the smallest they could go. right now i have 275 60 20 pro comp extreme mud terrains with out any lift i just cranked the torsion bars to get that extra little bit to get rid of the rubbing on the mudflap

 

Hello all I'm new here too.I was wondering if 15 inch rims will fit on my 1999 silverado 1500? And what year will work if they work?

 

35s will not fit. They barely rub with just the weight of the vehicle on them. Not to mention drving you would destroy the finder. Personnally I dont like the look of alot of tire in the fender. I love the stock 31s, Body lift 33s, or 6" suspension 35s look.
