Put a new catalytic converter/Y pipe assembly on my truck the other day. It's surprising how much power is regained from replacing a plugged catalytic converter ...

Put 200 miles on 'er and pulled a tree out.

Gotta love it .. Chevy tough as bricks and still kickin at 191,4XX miles. My little 305 Vortec sure does a good job.

Got to tow a dodge

Also put a new fuel pressure regulator on, in hopes to bring my 10-12MPG up. I'm hoping for 15-16 MPG, but I have a feeling I'm rather delusional. Overall, it's not too bad of a job pulling the upper plenum off the ol' vortec and putting the new part on the side of the spider. Took me about an hour total.

Default Topless!

Today I took the canopy off for the summer, which also meant removing several hundred pounds of chain, tools, and other crap. Now it drives like a new truck!
