Throttle body elec. to cable swap
I've been doing some light mods to my 2010 Silverado; TBS, CAI, cats gone, predator programmer, but I'm not seeing the throttle response I was hopnig for. Was wondering if I can my setup from elec. to cable without replcaing the TB. If i do need to swap the entire TB, how much more involved is it, as far as the computer recognizing the part. Emailed Diablo to see if they can write a tune if I do need to swap the whole setup, but haven't heard back. Would the cable throttle body even give me the responsiveness I'm looking for?

I highly doubt that you'll even notice the swap ... If the electronic TB setup was slow, even in the slightest bit, GM wouldn't be able to sell it to customers in all kinds of their cars. People will notice it for sure.

Thanks for the feedback
Talked to my mechanic today, says he can adjust the throttle response sensitivity, with a custom tune on the dyno. Just bougth the predator sport, but there's not much more power without the custom tune. On top of having to pay more for the custom tune there's a lot of back and forth with the tuners. Think I'll go with the dyno. Thanks for the reply, and I'll post another thread this week when I get the custom tune.
