With a 3 inch body lift, i think you would be fine. I could fit 285's on my truck without much problem so you should be fine

Hey bigtexaschevy i see you are back. You and scchevylover still at the same base?Or are you back in texas?

Now for your question i just but a 3 inch body lift on my 05 and the 285 fit fine and you should be fine on the 305.

My roomate has an 06 Z71 and he has 285/70s on it at stock height, I think the 305s will work height wise but its front to back when your turning that may rub a little. Just have em put one on and check it real quick and if it works have em mount the rest!

I had a leveling kit put on and was told 305s would be close, but would fit A 3 inch lift should easily accommodate 305s.

17 " tires?? well a 305 70 17 i dont thinkthey make.. but a 305 70 16 is abouta 33 so 285 are 31's so with a 3 inch youll be fine the only thing that is a concern is the turning it might rub a bit there

a 3" leveling kit allowed my buddies z71 to clear 305 70's so you should be good to go
