I have a 95 Silverado 2500 2-wheel drive. Truck is intermittently doing something weird and all of the following symptoms occur at the same time:
Upon start-up, the gear indicator is not on.
The RPM and speedometer gauges aren't functioning.
It hard shifts when going from reverse to drive (and vice-verse).
In drive it accelerates very slowly (if on a hill, barely moves at all).
It will accelerate from 1st but upon accelerating, you become aware that you are actually in 2nd, even though the gear shift should indicate 1st.
Once up to speed and in drive, it will not shift from 3rd into 4th.

No service lights are on in the dash array.
I replaced the neutral safety switch, checked the pan for metal (none), replaced tranny filter and oil to proper levels, but it is still doing it.
Again, intermittent problem with no rhyme or reason for when it decides to do it.
Any one experienced this before?
