A/c compressor clutch fuse keeps blowing

A/c compressor clutch fuse keeps blowing
have a 2004 Z71, 5.3 V8, auto. All of a sudden the A/C clutch fuse began blowing. Disconnected connector on compressor, NO fuse blowing. Replaced A/C compressor, vacuumed & re gassed, A/C works fine for about 30 min, then blew another fuse. Removed plastic bottom shield (shroud) to get to wiring harness which was grommet-ed (attached) to around exterior of oil pan/block junction. Removed protective plastic wire shield. At the juncture of the wiring harness split on the passenger's side, the wires were very warm to the touch, no smoke, no burned wires, no shorts that I can find. It appears to be a bad connection in the circuit or a bad sensor somewhere. Anybody have any ideas of what/where to check next? PCM under hood had a 10 amp fuse, replaced it with a 20 amp, A/C ran a while (20 min, normal driving) then blew again!!
Does the engine temperature sensor (drivers side towards front) have anything to do with this clutch control circuit?

Hey man! Thanks for making this thread, I have the same issue with my 2006 silverado 5.3l 4x4. How did you go about fixing the wires issue?
