Default Question about models

Hi, I'm not very knowledgeable about trucks or vehicles in general for that matter. I'm looking at getting the new 2014 Dodge Ram EcoDiesel, my question is, what is the difference between the different models i.e. Tradesman, Big Horn, Laramie, etc...I'm not trying to spend upwards of $50k so I was wondering if these different models offer anything worthwhile for me to consider. Thanks

welcome to the forum....Different models?.....I would think they are just different option packages (fancy stuff)...It can really add up....You will have to read up on what these packages include. ..Even the base model of anything includes quite a bit these days. What I would do is tell them you want a base model. They wont have one, so might upgrade you a little for free as to get the sale.....

Ah okay. I guess I gotta figure out which features I care about or not. The Tradesman is the cheapest model of them without added features so I'm assuming this is the base model you're referring to. I'm planning on having this truck for 10+ years, or as long as I can manage to keep it running. Thank you for the timely response
