Default eco diesel- best of both worlds?

A new contender has peaked my interest in the truck market. As mentioned earlier, I was looking at a truck that would be able to haul my stuff around in my trailer (approx. 6000lbs total) but would mostly be used as a daily driver. I was leaning towards a Dodge Cummins 2500-3500 but the new eco diesel has really got me thinking. Apparently it can tow around 9000lbs which would be perfect for my needs. Also, the savings at the gas pump seem amazing.

Right now I'm looking at a 2011 ram 3500 done up real nice with still 2 years left on warranty. Around the same price point I can get the new eco diesel. What do you guys think?

Definitely sounds like you have a hard decision to make. I don't know enough or even heard an feed back regarding the new eco boost diesel.

I can only assume it's all good. The big three are doing their best to attract our business by producing the a strong truck with the best fuel economy then their competitors.

With the two trucks your looking at now... I would have to say follow your heart and pick the one with the best warranty
