Default 2005 F350 diesel steering problem

Good morning all i am new here. i got into an accident last week and did quite a bit of damage to the truck. i hit the driver fender broke the wheel and all along the driver side. the fuel pump had a safety switch that i had to reset. now that i have turned the truck back on the steering wheel moves freely to either direction with the truck being on or off. is there a safety switch on the steering as well. i was wondering if any of you fine gentlemen might be able to help me thanks i will keep you updated on the progress

I'm assuming you have already crawled under the truck to see if any of your linkages haven't been detached in the accident.
The fact that your wheel got damaged tells me your PS box is broke. There is no safety steering cut out to reset.
