Default F350 challenge

Hi guys, I have an 2005 F350 with the 7.3 turbo Powerstroke diesel motor which has done about 225,000klms.
It has just developed this nasty habit of the engine dying at random intervals.
You can be rolling along at 100klms per hour and it will just turn off...no power, its like you have just turned the key off. The first time it happened we noticed the battery terminal was loose so we tighted it and put that terminal spray stuff on the terminal.....all good for another 50klms and it did it again.
When it turns off now, we pull over wait about 10 mins and it starts again.
One time it stopped and whilst we were looking for a spot to roll to off the road, the engine fired again.....go figure, it's an automatic....!!
About 1000klms ago, we had both tappet cover gaskets replaced as the Ford dealer said there was a fault with the connection of the wiring harness to the injectors.
Has anyone experienced a similar problem?...or should I just spray the whole truck with the terminal spray....
