Default A little OT - DOT medical card required for non-commercial use?

Anyone familiar with DOT regs and knows the section/number that deals with medical cards? I'm asking because I learned that if using a vehicle for commerce, and you have more than 10,001 GWVR you have to carry a med card. Got that.

What about for personal use, such as hauling a load of mulch from the supply yard in your dump trailer? Second you connect anything to a F350 you are over 10,001 GWVR.

GOOGLE search "Medical card DOT" in your state or province
Some rules change as you cross state lines

The information will be more reliable if you read it directly from the DOT website
rather then a social forum
