Cummins 12 valve in a F-350
I am considering the idea of swapping a Cummins in to my Ford. I have an 88 F-350 and I just picked up a 1993 Dodge 3500 with a rotted body with a diesel and 4wd. I have asked around and I cant find anybody who knows how much of a project this will be. Anybody have any suggestions?

There is a company out there called Fummins. They specialize in putting cummins in fords. I don't know a whole lot about them but I've heard good things. Other than that i wouldn't know much about it. Especially doing it yourself. Here is their web site if you want to check them out.

A 12 valve cummins swap is easy to do, thats what im doing to my 79 f350 project this summer. The 6bt, or 12v cummins, is an all mechanical motor, in witch i mean it doesnt require wires to run. no cpu, ecm, computers of any sort. just a battery, starter and fuel pump. now there is going to be some things you will have to customize. the motor mounts, intercooler and radiatior mounts, and if your changing to any other transmission other thatn a dodge transmission, you will have to play with the throughout bearing, bellhousing, and slave cylinder mount.
