Any ideas on this cold start noise

Default Any ideas on this cold start noise

IVE BEEN TOLD BY DIFFERENT MECHANICS THIS IS PISTON SLAP, Y PIPE FLUTTER, AND TIMING CHAIN PRETENSIONERS. IT DOES IT ONLY WHEN COLD STARTING IN THE MORNING. IT CAN SIT FOR HALF OF THE DAY THEN CRANK IT UP AND IT MAKES NO NOISE. IT RUNS GREAT AND HAS PLENTY OF POWER. IVE TRIED MOTORCRAFT 5W20 SYNTHETIC BLEND, CONVENTIONAL 10W30, AND MOBIL 1 FULLY SYNTHETIC 5W20 IT HAS NO AFFECT ON THE NOISE. AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE VIDEO IT STOPS AFTER A MINUTE. how many miles are on the truck?

It has 166,000 miles it was built in 98 i heard if it was a earlier v10 it has more problems than the later engines thanks

that fact that it goes away pretty quick and dosnt do it when it is hot, i would say has to do with a oil delivery issue.

oil is thicker when it is cold....once the oil thins out it is easier to pump through the engine, so it makes since that you would hear some noise before the oil thins out.
