Is it pumping cold air?
My clutch kicks in and out once the cool air starts to come, that is normal. It kicks in and out as needed
The main hose going to the compressor.....one side should be warm and one side cold

The clutch on your compressor pump will turn off and on a couple of times every two or three minutes whether your AC is on or off. This is normal, it is just circulating.
What is NOT normal is it turning off and on every 30 seconds. This is TOO frequent and would indicate LOW coolant gas
