Dakota Project Help
Hello Everyone!
I'm new to the forum and also new to working on trucks. I bought a 2007 Dakota a few months ago. It's a 2wd extended cab. Most people think I'm crazy for wanting to lift a 2wd. But I don't go four wheeling that much however I am on back roads a lot due to being a volunteer fire fighter. I want to lift it mostly for looks.
So far from what the shop has told me we are looking at a 2.5" suspension, and a 3" body lift. I have no idea on tires and rims though. I need a solid tire that will hold up to gravel roads well. I want to wider tire and rim to give it a good look so the tires are wider than the body. I never worked on trucks before. I have always been very big into aviation but I would like to learn as much as I can if anyone would give me some advice?
