I have a 90 F-150, which needs a new motor. I bought it in April and the guy told me it had a motor from a 93 GT with about 30k on it. Well that was an extreme lie!! Anyway, it does have a GT40 intake on it and god knows what else, if anything. Anyhow, time for a new motor, I am getting one from a friend of mine, out of his 92 LX, minus the cam, and I will probably use the cam if I can that I have. The question is, with the GT40 intake and speed density, should I try to convert, use as is, or get another (stock) intake? Any suggestions? I am by far no mechanic, my brother is and has done many mustangs with the 302, however they are not a truck with speed density either. Will it run ok with the intake and speed density or will it just run like crap and frustrate me? Thanks in advance for any info.
