loose bolts in brake caliper - 8/12/2007 4:23:30 AM    nextlevel   Posts: 2 Joined: 8/12/2007 Status: offline My 1999 ranger has this problem with the brake caliper bolts coming loose.  I have only had this truck for about 2 months and on both sides the bolt works itself loose.  Is this a common problem with these trucks? RE: loose bolts in brake caliper - 8/12/2007 5:51:04 PM    nextlevel   Posts: 2 Joined: 8/12/2007 Status: offline Thanks for the response.  In my lifetime I have taken off and put on many calipers and have never heard of putting loctite on the threads.  I have never had any work loose either.  In fact, I have never heard of caliper bolts working loose on any vehicle.  But, if they need loctite I will certainly use it.
