I have a 94 Ranger 4X4 5speed , That seems to be suffering from vapor lock, though everything checks out. The pvc and return lines through the charcoal filter are all connected and in good condition, yet the power is not there in gear going down the road it acts like its a 4 banger instead of a 6. Plugs and wires have been changed, it's in time, ...it feels like I'm riding with the brakes on. any suggestions?

I may be wrong but usually (in my experience) vapor lock is when the fuel pump locks up from moisture getting into it and the vehicle stops running.

As for your problem, have you tried changing the fuel filter?  When those get clogged up it can cause a serious loss of power.
