Hello all! I am only a prospective truck owner, but I would like to pose the title question to some more experienced truck owners.

Recently I have been test driving 2000 - 2003 Tundras and I was told by a salesperson that lifted trucks get about 4 to 5 miles less per gallon. Does anyone know if this is true or partially true or should I move this to another forum?

Thanks in advance!

It isnt the lifts that cause the decrease in mpg it is the larger tires most people put under the lifts.
