I am looking for information to decode the VIN on my 1965 Ford F700. I want to find out the spring capacity, rear differential, brake option, etc. The truck was used previously as a fire truck and only has 7000 original miles on it. Also, the truck has the Maxibrake parking brake option and because I had to dismantle it to get the water pump off, I need info on where it needs to be re-installed (i.e., at the transmission, at the drive shaft bearing hanger, etc.). Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am new to the forum so forgive me if this is posted incorrectly.
