Just a quick question. My buddy has a 2001 Chevy with the 5.3. He descreened his MAS and said it hurt his gas mileage. So he gave it to me. The numbers mach my MAS so that is not a problem. Before I install it I was wondering if it will hurt my gas mileage, increase it, or just make it more responsive? I wonder if it was his driving, but he had it descreened for about 2 months and said it cut his miles per tank roughly 30 miles shorter of what he normally gets. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I would hate to loose MPG especailly at this time of the gas inflation....
