I have a 1989 S10 2.5 FI that keeps kicking out a code for alternater over voltage.It seems to do this mostly in hot weather 90 degrees +.It bucks and snorts and check engine light comes on and off eraticly.It quits doing this as quickly as it starts.
I have replaced the alternator twice and it hasn''t helped.
Please help if you can
