I''m wondering what size the O rings on the fuel rail are. I''m changing injectors, and it looks like it is easier to split the rail than work it around the harness that runs on top of it. 2000 sillverado 5.3.  Thanks

?

You shouldn''t have to change any O-rings to change injectors.

Aren''t there O rings that seal the crossover/fpr to the rail connections? I just want to change them to keep from having to pull it apart twice. I have the upper and lower injector rings. Maybe I''m looking at it wrong. Will the rail come up enough under the harness to pull the injectors.

Yeah...there are three total. Auto parts stores have them in their O-ring kits.

Not clear on why you want to replace them though?

The harness will move enough to allow the rails to come up far enough to get the injectors out.

Guess that is what I wanted to know. It looked to me that the harness is in the way. Will try it.  Thank you
