07 Silverado Brake Problem
I have an old style 2007 Silverado Diesel. My brakes started feeling spongy (when baking to a stop I feel like I'm sliding on ice for a few seconds). I changed the rear pads and rotors. The front pads seem OK. I have 67,000 miles on my truck. Could this be an ABS problem?

bleed the brakes, better yet change the fluid to a higher temp. Could be moisture from condensation in the system and during hard braking the fluid heats up causing the water to vapourize thus allowing the water vapour to be compressed and causing the spongy pedal. Had the same problem after I upgraded my brakes, better bite means more heat.
