1995 Chevy C3500-HD Spped Limiter
 

I have acquired a 1995 Chevy 3500HD Silverado / 7.4 / 4l80E / 4.63 Diff and have found the speed limiter is set @ 65mph, not the rev limiter, revs are good. Speedo was way off but replaced dash cluster with a used one and now the speedo is correct and all other gauges function correctly, also replaced the speed sensors. Is there a way to eliminate the speed limiter without reprogramming the ECU, or if I found a used ECU out of a truck similar would the limiter be different?
