2010 chev 2500HD hesitation

Having issues with my Chevy Silverado 2500 HD hesitating under acceleration. Also have had the engine go into "limp" mode with Traction control warning notification coming on. I turn off the engine and wait 2-3 minutes, start up and go on, any Ideas?
