1979 GMC K15 4x4 Neutral Sfety Switch

I am looking for instructions on how to replace the neutral safety switch on a 1979 GMC Sierra Grande 4x4 350 CI engine. Can anyone give me some information please.

I have found the information necessary to replace the switch, I am now requesting help on diagnosing the real problem, have new thread on this.
