CAI on 5.3 Colorado
 

I just installed a Volant Cold Air Intake on my 2009 Colorado with 5.3L auto, 2WD... and I now have a sluggish - ish low end!

Otherwise, it runs great and idles great and sounds kewL.

So, eventually I'm going to have a mild tune put on this truck so that should take care of the low end sluggishness, right?

I have to step on it harder to get it to pick up versus before the CAI was installed, so I'm thinking since it is getting much more cool air than it was originally tuned for at the factory... a good tune will fix that.

Does this sound right?

With it breathing in better, it will need to breath out better now also.
A tune later will help find that hidden HP and torque through you hole power ban
