Need Advice Asap!

Probably a stupid question but I can't get a straight answer from anyone. I have a 2000 gmc sierra (6.5ft bed). With a welded frame. Would it be at all possible to put a 2000 lb? truck camper on it? Probably not. I know I can't tow with it.
