Need some new highquality breaks, What will work

I have a 1994 GMC sierra 1500 4.3L V6 RWD, With a 5sp O/D Tranny.

It's almost time to do the breaks and I would like to go to a wrecker and pull fours disc's off of something... Does anyone know the specs for making this work? Or does any one know of this being attempted before?

I hear F-150's have some nice breaks on em these days is this true?

Thanks a ton, JC

Never heard of anyone attempting this.
Only time I've heard of using f150 brakes was on Jeep CJs since they had the same 5x5.5 bolt pattern. Best results I've had with brakes from the chain stores was using the Napa premium line and not the cheap stuff. Cheap chinese rotors are just that, you get what you pay for.

Thank you, for the advice. Look's like I've got some measuring to be doing shortly. It would be really nice to find a wrecked F-150 and rip the breaks off of it if they match up.

It is a 5 bolt pattern so it just may work. Do the new (ish)-sierra's carry four roters?

I'll keep you updated, if this ends up happening.
