subwoofers

Hey I just bought an 06 crew cab z71 4x4. I am putting a Pioneer avic D-3 as my head unit, JL Audio 6.5 XR series highs. A salesman had recomended that I go with the Pioneer shallow mount subs in a downfiring box under the rear seat. Have any of you tried them out and ifso how do they sound? Any imput would be greatly appeciated.

no dont go with those he is just trying to get you to come back in the futuer to buy more stuff. i have two 10" punch subs under my back seat but you might want to go with a fiberglass box for the right air space

I would suggest you to jus check out JBL for that puch and quality u wud ever need.
