What happened?
when i first heard about the colorado i thought
it was going to be a big hit but a lot of owners were dissapointed by the engine that was put in it it needs a little more sportier feel than it has right now -Jesse- |
RE: What happened?
i got the 4 cylinder colorado and it has 189 hp stock. my old s-10 4.3 had 165 hp stock, i dont think that is to lacking in power for a 4 cyl. sporty? much sporty-er than the old s-10 or the new ford ranger

RE: What happened?
The new 3.5 5 cylinder is a great motor. Granted it doesn't make the tourqe the old 4.3 does but still a good motor for one less cylinder. I think the new motors are great. They are new motors though. For the time I did work at the dealership though I never saw any problems out of them except for regular maintenence.

RE: What happened?
I still think the Crew Cab Z-71 models are pretty sweet. I'd love to see someone do a straight axle swap with 37's on it.

RE: What happened?
yeah the I5 is great, with it being dual over head cam and 4 valves per cylinder there is great posibilities, there is already a cam set as well as a header in the works, im not sure when they will be out or what else is being worked up.

RE: What happened?
Personally I love the I5 motor. At first I was alittle sceptic about it, but after ridding in Lug Nuts truck I became a fan. Hauls A$$ I tell ya!
