Default 01 chevy radio

i like the stock radio but my cd player is not working, i would like to keep the stock radio but don't want to spend an arm and a leg to replace it with a new stock radio. if there is a way to hook a mp3 player up to it i think i would be happy. i think the sound quality of the stock system is good other than the mid range is a little muffled i like the speed controlled volume is nice and like the stock look.

btw i suppose i should say what my radio is doing in case its a simple problem. it feeds and ejects cd's just fine when you put one in it does nothing for a few seconds then it says "err" and ejects the cd, iv tried a few different cd's and same thing plus i tried blowing the inside of the player out with compressed air.

Go aftermarket. That is all I will say. I am sure someone else will chime in also....
