Axle Nut Torque Question

Axle Nut Torque Question
Hello, recently my RF hub/bearing on my 2011 GMC Sierra 1500 4x4 Z71 went out and I replaced it.
I ordered a SKF hub from Rock Auto, and watched an online video regarding the torque specs and installation.
The video stated that the axle nut should be torqued to 156 FT Pounds and that is what I did.
Now looking online, I see the torque spec for that nut should be 188 FT pounds according to another resource.
I know over-tightening is a major issue, but is the difference between 156 and 188 FT pounds a issue?
Should I go back and re-rent the tools to fix this?
Is 188 FT pounds correct?
Really would appreciate any help I can get here, thank you.
